Stand with R.U.T.H.
Support women and children who are currently experiencing displacement.
‘Refugees Undergoing Trauma & Hardship.’ Over and over again, Philoi encounter stories of resilient women who remind us of Ruth in the Bible. Ruth is known for her resilience, faithfulness, and courage, all of which are particularly poignant in light of her experience as a refugee without male support.
Hope for Displaced Children
Support displaced children in Sri Lanka by empowering their education through local schools.
One teacher shared, “I travel 5-7 kilometres just to make photocopies, wasting precious time that could be spent with the children.” For over 30 years, Sri Lanka’s communities were torn apart by a devastating armed conflict. Today, families continue to mourn those who vanished. Nearly 15 years since the war ended, many areas lack basic necessities, leaving young people without hope, forcing them to seek uncertain futures far from home.
Sanctuary Housing (Safe House)
Support newly arrivals in Australia with sanctuary housing.
With the soaring rental market in Australia, refugees are struggling to find affordable accommodation. A generous family has offered their house to be used as a ‘sanctuary house’ for newly arriving refugees. If you have or know any facilities that could potentially serve as sanctuaries, we kindly urge you to reach out to us. Alternatively, you could help contribute to a family’s rent as they get on their feet.
Refugee Travel Assistance
Give to the travel costs of refugees fleeing persecution.
Refugees and displaced people often experience immense and specific persecution due to their Christian faith/ethnicity. The constant and legitimate threats to their lives leave them with no other option; they must leave or be killed.

In India 2008, the district of Kandhamal Orissa was lit up by Hindu fundamentalists who led the anti-Christian campaign.
