supporting displaced afghan families
Afghanistan’s neighbouring countries host over 6.2 million forcibly displaced people from Afghanistan. Since 2021, the conflict has driven more than 700,000 vulnerable people out of their homes, especially the persecuted religious minorities.
Thousands of Afghans were evacuated to neighbouring countries by the governments and NGOs with the hope of resettling them in a third country. Six months later, many are still living in tightly controlled facilities.
Philoi has supported vulnerable women in these camps with hygiene packs containing soap, undergarments, sanitary products, and other skin-care products. One of the young women who Philoi supported wrote “When my family received the package, it was truly a gift. We realised that we are not alone.” If you would like to donate, or need more information, email us on info@philoiglobal.org.
